Awesome Writers

Amelie, Matilda, Evie and Emily have met all the goals on their goal card.
 Great draft writing.

We used our clocks to show the time.

Counting in 5's around the clock.
How many minutes in an hour?
The clock is saying....12 o'clock!

What happens to chocolate when you hold it in your hand?
We looked at the chocolate and used our senses to describe it. We touched it, nibbled it and smelled it.
We put the two chocolate buttons into a plastic bag.

We held the chocolate in our warm hands
while we read a ‘chocolate’ story.

Tell someone how the chocolate buttons changed and why they changed?

The chocolate tasted just as good after it had melted!
Amelie and Emily had cold hands because they had been outside.
They held their chocolate beside the heater to melt it.
Do you like eating solid chocolate or liquid chocolate the most?

We are still waiting for our pots to dry!

How long until our ceramic dough is dry? on PhotoPeach
We looked at some of the artworks of artist Joan Miro.
We drew lines and shapes to make a pattern on our paper.
Then we used bright red, green, blue and yellow to colour our design.
The lines and shapes look like they are moving.

We dyed over the pastel with a bright colour.

We can make sculptures.

Stretch out the word and find the letters that make the sounds we hear....

That's Live Spelling
We work out words for our writing.
Wait a moment-why couldn't we hear that last letter?
Who is that Letterlander?

Emily saw her breath on the way to school...

This morning it was cold.
We decided to go outside and discover if we could all see our breath.
We wonder what type of matter our breath is?
Cameron thought it was carbon dioxide. Is that a solid, liquid or a gas?
We wonder why we could see our breath?
Can you help answer our question?
